Who You Are

If who I am is what I have,
And what I have is lost,
Then who am I?

A question pondered,
By many a soul,
As life’s journey unfolds.

But Jesus said,
“What good will it be,
For a man if he gains the whole world,
Yet forfeits his soul?”

Love Energizes The Soul

~Soul:~ What things give you energy?

~Heart:~ Love.

~Soul:~ Love? But love can be both a source of energy and a drain. It can lift us up to the highest heights, or bring us down to the lowest depths.

~Heart:~ True. But it is the only thing that can truly energize our souls.

~Soul:~ How can that be?

~Heart:~ Because love is the essence of who we are. It is the force that connects us to all that is good and beautiful in the world. When we love, we are plugged into the infinite source of energy.
